Mr. Burro Schmidt built a tunnel as a way of getting ore from his mine to the railroad depot out at Garlock. The tunnel is dug through the El Paso Mountains in the Mojave Desert. The tunnel was built using hand tools, and for awhile owned by a lady known simply as "Toni".

- The name of the town Schmidt was trying to reach was Garlock, not Farlock. Not sure who "Toni" is but the BLM is claiming ownership.
